Royal Exchange’s Recovery Gains Momentum
Although Royal Exchange began 2026 at ₦1.86 per share, leaving the stock down 11.3% year-to-date, recent trading suggests sentiment has improved considerably.

BuyerMetrics Insight
Royal Exchange’s recent rally appears to be supported by more than market momentum.
The combination of an 18% share price increase since May 13, a ₦1.51 billion profit after tax, ₦11.92 billion in total assets, and ₦7.07 billion in shareholders’ equity points to a company emerging from a period of weaker performance with stronger financial fundamentals.
For investors, the key issue is whether the improving earnings trajectory can sustain the recent rally and help the stock recover the ground lost earlier in the year.
